Art Show in Brooklyn This Weekend

The Look What I Found! Art Show has been put together by a great friend of mine and overall incredible human being, Jessie Siobahn Lamprecht, and will be featuring several artist and musician friends of mine from Long Island and the five boroughs.  I will be showing several pieces on this evening.. mostly tried and true favorites, but also a couple new pieces that haven't been publicly posted yet.

This will be the first of what hopes to become a monthly event, so come down to the Tea Factory on Stockholm St. to show your love and support for young local artists.

I will be posting pictures from the event next week as well as information on the next Look What I Found! as it becomes available.

SOLD- before I even got a chance to post it

Blue Dream
~4" x 6"
Acrylic on Hand-Stretched Canvas

I brought this piece to my good friend Anjipan's monthly What is That Though? Art Show in Ronkonkoma this past Saturday.  It was painted very recently and for that reason hadn't even been properly photographed and incorporated into my portfolio or posted on this blog.  To my great surprise and honor, one of the guests that attended the show liked it so much that he asked me to buy it off the wall.
No matter how many pieces I sell, I will continue to be intensely flattered and excited by people relating to and enjoying the art that I see as my personal form of therapy.

So much love for all the artists who participated this month, and everyone that came to support Long Island's up-and-comers. <3

“Don't be ashamed to weep; 'tis right to grieve. Tears are only water, and flowers, trees, and fruit cannot grow without water. But there must be sunlight also. A wounded heart will heal in time, and when it does, the memory and love of our lost ones is sealed inside to comfort us.”
